It can be a real test of motors ability, and I have never had an issue. Forward, reverse, full power, and sipping gas. When I winterized the motor this last fall, it was rough running.

So, I rarely go through a tank of gas in season. My atomic 4 is out and awaiting a new owner. My p28 is in the water at burn ham harbor chicago. I am selling the a-4 to offset conversion cost.

I am re-powering my 1977 Pearson 28. The motor runs at hull speed 180 deg, no smoking. Due to COVID, I got stranded on the river without a chance get her out lake as usually do during summer atomic 4 engine for sale in running condition.

Since I planned to re-power this year anyway, didn't address and servicing. I have lived aboard for over 4 years. Checking off the too-do list. I sail into and off of my mooring can.

Converting my Pearson 28 from gas to electric. I know better. I am selling my running atomic 4 motor. I confess neglected to run the motor periodically throughout summer.

However, since the boat stays in water year-round, I motor 10 miles up river spring, and down fall. I was involved in a number of repairs and since dock-locked for the summer, running motor last thing on my mind. These bridge runs, as they are lovingly referred to, can take up to 6 hours.
