Details:

While in service, the end cap became rusted and one bolt had to be cut out to be extracted see photo 4 where yellow arrow is pointing, and also photo 5 that shows the hole where the bolt was. Save money by buying this part used.

Once removed, the end cap was treated for rust and is now good to use again. Good used condition has been cleaned, phosphates and repainted with factory detroit diesel green. Detroit diesel 53 series exhaust manifold end cap, left bank, part came off an 8v53 marine diesel port side of the port engine. A brand new end cap will cost around 630, not including shipping.
