He relied on the water pump to push the antifreeze through the engine. The customer winterized the engine himself and the water pump was weak. I will crate the engine at no charge.
However the exhaust manifold needs to be replaced. It will need a new exhaust manifold and a few accessories bolted back on, which are all included new manifold not included.
The engine runs quite well with a new frost plug, but the manifold squirts water. So the engine its self is in good running and mechanical condition.
With that said, this engine is complete and running. The engine has 800 hours on it. Its just slightly disassembled because it was a tight squeeze getting it out of the boat. It was diluted by water enough to reduce its effectiveness to where it pushed out a frost plug and put a small crack in one exhaust manifold.
The engine has been run for about two hours or so, and no water is entering the oil. I have a fork truck and engine is at a commercial address.
