4l freshwater cooled 2000 gen 6 Mercruiser for repair or rebuild.
I had to remove the starboard exhaust manifold and both risers to get the motor out of the boat so please make note of that. The previous owner said he tried to repair it and could not, and was fed up with it, that's why he sold the boat for a cheap price.
Clean, complete 7. I do not know what is wrong with it and never tried to fix it. The engine did run when it was removed, however it did not idle and had a bad vibration to it when giving it throttle. I don't know the hours on the engine but it looks very clean with minimal rust, many parts look to be very new such as the exhaust manifolds and risers, distributor, wires, plugs, starter etc.
I removed this engine from a boat I bought for a great price so I decided to install a new engine in that boat.
