I braze welded the crack but I am not a welder. It had the stringer 400 on it but I sold it a few years ago.
Good luck and happy buying. Ball gears look great.
You are buying on a 1978 Omc 120 engine with bell housing and intermediate housing. This unit is out of a 17 foot 1978 Rankin bow rider. The unit was pulled about 10 years ago and has been covered ever since.
When removed it was showing just over 400 hours and ran very smooth. The starter does not work and the trim motor may not work either. The unit has only seen fresh water in lake Murray and lake waterier.
There is no shipping for this item. There is no reserve price. This is a Chevy engine. This item is sold as is.
I have seen the intermediate and bell housing go for around 200 bucks.
If you use I will cut my delivery price in half.
Lots of life left.
