A hole rusted out on the exhaust riser where water is injected typical and I repaired it with some muffler repair putty wrap. This is an old engine and please be prepared for rusty bolt heads the like. Engine needs paint, etc.
This repair has been holding up surprisingly well but is obviously not a forever solution. Or use for parts if you are repairing a yse Sm. Water pump was rebuilt last year with new bearing, seal and impeller. Came this way, seems to work.
However it does run well and has always started without much fuss. Sold complete with control panel wiring harness, starter, alternator both new last year and transmission. The top plate was replaced with a fabricated aluminum. Engine was rebuilt built in the late 90s and has been used a 32 foot sailboat kept on freshwater lake day sailed.
