Some hose cutting. Conversion kit includes heat exchange, heavy duty translucent plastic expansion tank plus all other components necessary to complete conversion. Heavy duty dual demount able clean out end covers.

Cooling system capacity will maintain engine temperature in the range using 160 f thermostat, included in kit. Heat exchange shell and tube type. No metal cutting involved.

Heat exchange and brackets are finished in black. All components bolt on. Cooling system type block only. Some components from engine are reused.

Conversion kit fits 1999 or earlier gm Chevy based v6 v8 engines lacking power steering or with power steering pump mounted low on port side of engine. Hose clamps all stainless steel. Complete instructions included in kit. Installation tools minimum screw driver, 7/8 deep socket or box wrench, 9 16 socket or box wrench, medium pipe wrench, knife, pipe dope.

Installation skills are not beyond those of most do it yourself boat owners. Installation time approximately one hour for experienced mechanic assuming new engine and normal accessibility.
